Bewl Water

Lamberhurst, Kent

As the largest stretch of open water in the South East, the 800-acre site of Bewl is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and offers fun for the whole family, all year round! Alongside activities like walking, cycling, fishing and camping, there are plenty of events coming up, including Bewl’s Big Dog Day Out and the Dragon Boat Festival in September.

Scotney Castle

Lamberhurst, Kent

Situated in a breath-taking wooded estate, the country house, romantic garden and 14th-century moated castle of Scotney is a National Trust treasure. There are more than 770 acres of woodland and parkland to explore, plus you can enjoy the upcoming outdoor theatre production of The Tempest on August 31, or take part in the ‘Hops and honey’ weekend on September 8 and 9.
